Modern Vice was founded in 2011 and is a luxury shoe store and shoe factory located in midtown Manhattan, New York City. They are the premier shoe boutique of NYC, manufacturing men's and women's shoes in their factory. Their made in NYC, made in USA shoes are hand made and sold in their Midtown showroom and online.
Their shoes and booties are made using the finest materials by shoe makers with generations of experience. Though a boutique store, they sell their shoes all over the world through their website and through select vendors. Their designer shoes reflect the latest fashion styles. Shoes are also made for private labels, where they work with a team to create private label shoes for their brand. Also available are custom shoes, either for personal enjoyment, or special events like weddings or red carpet events. They are the premier custom shoe maker and manufacturer for special events.
Beautiful things are taken for granted these days, but not at Modern Vice. They develop all of their shoes with a focus on quality, fast accessible fashion, and the necessity of all stylistic individuals in mind.

Rock star boots!
This is my first custom pair of Modern Vice boots. After meeting with Jordan, he advised me to buy a 36.5 wide instead of the 37 medium that I though was the correct size (he even had Sara trace my foot and give the info to the shoemakers). Jordan's assessment was spot-on; the boots just arrived earlier this afternoon and the fit is perfect, with enough room for padded socks. The styling and craftsmanship are amazing. I'm a musician and these boots are the perfect look for jam sessions with my friends...these are rock star boots!
