first direct - a company you can talk to. In my experience, first direct are excellent. I have been a banking customer of first direct for over 5 years using their current account and savings account services. The services themselves don't come with many perks per se.

Always excellent service. And what is my 5* review based on? >30 years with First Direct, when I joined from Midland Bank and never looked back. Their 24/7 telephone service is excellent, as you would expect, some delays with Covid-19, but I am never waiting more than 2-3 minutes. Highly recommended.
