 · But rather than highlighting that it was from edx, I would highlight that it was administered by Harvard, MIT, UPenn, etc. At the end of the day, people care about brands. These universities are brands that catch peoples' eyes. Also, having taking these courses on your own time shows drive and initiative, characteristics that employers care about.

edX is an excellent platform for… edX is an excellent platform for learning and many courses are at a better level than that of public universities. I would recommend everyone to take advantage of edX. Regarding edX itself, the materials and videos are mostly very good. But I would recommend improving the QA forum sections a bit.

I currently am using Udemy with my company license and even though is also good, I must admit edX is way more informative and more demanding in the way they make the courses, it does seem like you going to college but in a relaxed, comfortable form home kind of way.
